Loving Prague
Every time I walk around or ride around this city, I am struck ever deeper by a strong feeling of awe and admiration. My friends are probably tired of it, because every time this feeling hits me- usually about once or twice a day- I remind them how incredibly lucky we are to be here. I'm sure I've made them well aware by now.
But dammit, I am so lucky to be here. This is such a beautiful and amazing place. Of all the chance friends I've made outside my program, the Czech ones are the ones I've really connected with and spent time with. I went out twice with them this weekend (more on that later). I'm falling more and more in love with this city every day.
And every day, I'm able to imagine myself staying here for a longer period of time. Far longer than my requisite four months.
I'm almost to the halfway mark of this semester, but I'm just starting to feel truly at home.
